(Energy Efficiency Management Office)
Applications are invited from interested candidates from the Republic of Mauritius for a 5-day full-time training course and certification in energy auditing to be held tentatively during the second week of February 2016 under a SIDS-DOCK funded project ‘Consultancy services to Assist the Energy Efficiency Management Office in Energy Audit Management’.
The objective of the training course is to train selected applicants to become certified energy auditors. Participants will also be trained in carrying out investment-grade energy audits.
Candidates attending the training course will necessarily have to take part in an examination set out by the International Institute for Energy Training (IIET) of Canada, and to be conducted by the Mauritius Examination Syndicate.
Successful candidates will be certified as energy auditors and may eventually be registered with the Energy Efficiency Management Office under forthcoming regulations to be made under the Energy Efficiency Act 2011.
